Emotional support animals do not qualify as service animals. Unfortunately, cats are not welcome under any circumstances, as many guests have severe allergies. CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT: - Early check-in or late check-out can be at an extra fee depending on availability. - You will receive simple and easy to follow check-out instructions upon your arrival. - A rental contract will emailed for electronic signature before check-in. Before checking into the property we must collect a credit card and photo ID to verify your identity and cover any incidentals (as we do not charge a security deposit). Security: Please note, there is a camera out-front pointed towards the front yard and one in the back-yard pointed toward the woods for liability purposes. Good to Know! Rest easy with Safely Insurance. Upon booking you are covered by $5,000 of damages insurance and up to $1M in liability damages. Your payment includes a $99 charge for this service. If you prefer not to be covered by Safely, you can opt out and provide a $1,500 refundable deposit instead. Upon booking you give permission to the property manager to use a third-party to screen your identity and check criminal databases to confirm your reservation. Complete terms regarding the guest screening can be provided by the property manager. You may receive an email to complete your screening. Thank you for following our house rules: No smoking or vaping of any kind in the home or around open windows or doors. Violators will be charged up to $1,000 and asked to leave without refund. Disturbing the peace is not tolerated. Disturbing the wildlife (especially bears) will not be tolerated. Violators will be asked to leave without refund. No parties with outside guests are allowed. All guests must be included on the guest count for your reservation. No more than 10 people are allowed to stay overnight. Quiet hours are from 10 PM - 8 AM. Please do not play music loudly at any hour. It is against Highlands code to have more than 14 people stay overnight and no more than 10 cars allowed on property at a time. The trash cans are on bear-proof and are located on Upper Lake Road. YOU MUST CLOSE THE BINS tightly and make sure the cans are secure.
